Hotel Concept

Taking into account people’s physical, mental, and emotional needs, interior designers use human-centered approaches to address how we live today. By creating innovative approaches to promoting health, safety, and well-being, contemporary interiors are increasingly inspired by biophilia as a holistic approach to design. By definition, interior design encompasses diverse aspects of our environment. The discipline extends to building materials and finishes, as well as custom-built furniture and other furnishings.

  • Open Living Spaces: Creating open-plan living areas to improve the flow and connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Natural Materials: Using reclaimed wood, stone, and natural fibers to create a sense of harmony with the surrounding environment.
  • Large Windows: Installing floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize natural light and provide unobstructed ocean views.
  • Outdoor Living: Designing spacious outdoor areas, including a deck, pool, and garden, for relaxation and entertaining.
  • Modern Amenities: Featuring state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, smart home technology, and luxurious bathroom fixtures.

Location

By creating multi-sensory experiences, we can design interiors that appeal to people of all ages and demographics. These rooms and spaces connect us to nature—a proven way to inspire us, boost our productivity, and enhance our well-being. Beyond these benefits—such as reducing stress and enhancing creativity—we can also accelerate the healing process. In our increasingly urbanized cities, biophilia advocates for a more humanistic approach to design. The result is biophilic interiors that celebrate how we live, work, and learn with nature. The term translates to ‘the love of living things’ in ancient Greek (philia = the love of / inclination toward), and was used by the German-born American psychoanalyst Erich Fromm in *The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness* (1973).

  • The Carlton Hotel’s culinary focus is on starting the day right: a carefully curated, generous buffet breakfast that caters to sightseers, business travelers, couples, and families alike. The focus is on fresh ingredients, high-quality coffee, a quick yet comfortable breakfast experience, and catering to a variety of dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free options).
  • The cuisine at Hazai Provence combines the flavors of the Balaton Uplands with the atmosphere of the South of France. The seasonal gourmet dishes at the Michelin-recommended 84 Bistro are prepared using ingredients from local producers, making both breakfast and dinner an integral part of the countryside getaway. Here, gastronomy is not just an added service, but one of the most important elements of the “Hungarian Provence” experience.
  • The cuisine at the Zichy Family Experience Estate focuses on the flavors of the Hungarian countryside and the joy of shared family meals. Dishes made with local ingredients, the all-inclusive menu for children, baby-friendly options, and thoughtful touches designed for parents’ comfort all come together to create a cozy yet high-quality experience. All of this is designed to ensure that mealtime is one of the best parts of your stay.
